Keflavik International Airport is Iceland's largest and busiest airport, serving as the primary hub for all international air traffic to and from the country. Originally constructed during World War II by the United States military, the airport has grown into a modern facility capable of handling millions of passengers annually.
Located on the Reykjanes Peninsula approximately 45 minutes from downtown Reykjavik, Keflavik offers two intersecting runways and full Category II/III approach capabilities. Iceland Aero Agents operates from Building 810 on the airport grounds, providing round-the-clock FBO services for private, charter, and military aircraft with dedicated crew facilities and seamless customs processing.

Akureyri Airport is located in the north of Iceland. Typically referred to as the capital of the north, Akureyri has a vast variety of entertainment and leisure.
The airport was constructed in 1955 to replace the airstrip at Melgerdismelar, a little bit further to the south of Akureyri. Although the airport is mostly used for domestic passenger flights, it is the perfect spot for private international flights.

Keflavik Airport is located on the southwest corner of Iceland. Just a 45 minute drive from the airport you will find Reykjavik city centre, with all of its culture.
Keflavik Airport is the perfect stop for bigger jets, and for fuel stops. The airport was built during World War II by the US Military, to replace an old British air strip just south of the airport.

The Reykjavik airport area has an important history for aviation in Iceland, as the first aeroplane to ever fly in Iceland took off from Vatnsmyrin in September 1919. Construction for the airport began in October 1940 by the British Army, as it served as a base for the Royal Air Force. The airport was handed over to the Icelandic Government in 1946.
